Juneteenth 2021

The Academy Art Museum will host the annual Juneteenth celebration on Sunday, June 20, 2021 in partnership with the Frederick Douglass Honor Society.  Juneteenth, one of the most important holidays in the country, marks the abolition of slavery. This year, will include musicians, artists and performances to celebrate Emancipation Day as well as the significant contributions of African Americans in our country, and reflecting on the common values that we share as a community.  Come out and enjoy this day of reflection, renewal, and pride.
