Going Purple Together

Join your neighbors at The Mid-Shore is Going Purple Together second annual gathering in Idlewild Park on Friday, September 24. Enjoy a live DJ, virtual reality, a teen-created hip-hop time capsule, local African American history exhibit, Zumba, an art show and so much more as we celebrate Go Purple and Recovery Month in the mid-shore.

A Peer Support Specialist ceremony will honor local heroes who have overcome their substance use addiction and are now helping others through the their journey to sobriety. Learn about local resources to help those struggling with substance use, and get trained on Narcan and Deterra bags. Guests can outdoor dine with some tasty food truck offerings, including Amy Cool’s Ice Cream Express and So Coast.
