Allegra! Women’s Chorus Fall Concerts

Allegra Women’s Chorus:  Heaven’s Glories

November 21, 7pm at Trinity Cathedral, Easton

Heaven’s Glories, a cosmic program of choral music performed by Allegra! honors the expanse of the sky and all therein. Composers represented are Abby Betinis, Elaine Hagenberg, Stacey V. Gibbs, Andrea Ramsey, and others. At the heart of the program is a multi-movement work by Sarah Quartel, She Sang the Stars, based on the Finnish epic, the Kalevala. Through it the stories of female archetypes are told as they sing, mother, hunt, travel, and grow into wisdom under the glory of the heavens.
