
Young residents between the ages of 6 and 18 are challenged to read a biography of Talbot’s own Frederick Douglass and write what they learned on an entry form to turn into the library. Winners can receive exciting gift card prizes! The challenge runs June 1 – September 1 and an award reception will be held on Saturday, September 26th.
This reading challenge is sponsored by the Frederic Douglass Honor Society. Register in person at the Talbot County Free Library.

Exciting summer reading for kids and teens starts on Saturday, June 6th, from 10 am – 2 pm at the Chesapeake Children’s Book Festival at the Talbot County Free Library, 100 W Dover St, in Easton, MD!
