The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is hosting Boater Safety Courses!

Classes run from 6-10pm, $25 per two-evening session. Pre-registration required to Volunteer & Education Coordinator, Allison Speight, at 410-745-4941 or by e-mail aspeight@cbmm.org

Individuals and families with children over age 12 are welcome to participate in our Boater’s Safety certification program and learn the basics needed to operate a vessel on Maryland waterways. MD boaters born after July 1, 1972 are required to have a Certificate of Boating Safety Education. Graduates of our two-day Department of Natural Resources-approved course are awarded a certificate that is good for life.
