Talbot County Community Roundtable

To gather stakeholder input on Maryland’s Strategic Plan for our comprehensive, mixed delivery system of programs and services that support children birth through age five and their families, the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Division of Early Childhood (DEC) will host four Community Roundtables in September at locations throughout the state. Each session will be two and a half hours, running from 9:30 a.m.- 12 p.m. Sessions at each location will be the same. Participants will have an opportunity to register in advance of each session.

The Roundtables are facilitated discussions designed to gather feedback on the state’s Strategic Planning priorities, informed by the findings of the Statewide Needs Assessment that was conducted in Spring 2019. During these working sessions, participants will help update and edit our state early childhood vision, goals, and action planning. Our goal is to submit a Strategic Plan to fulfill our federal funding requirement for the Preschool Development Grant B-5 by the end of October 2019.
