Fourth of July Fireworks on Delmarva 2019

Maryland

  • Berlin: Wednesday, July 3, 8-9 p.m.; Berlin Falls Park, 10009 Old Ocean City Boulevard. Fireworks begin at dusk. Presented by Berlin Main Street.
  • Cambridge: Thursday, July 4, dusk; Choptank River Waterfront. Best viewing spots include: Great Marsh Park, near Somerset Avenue and Hambrooks Boulevard Long Wharf Park, near High and Water streets.
  • Crisfield: Saturday, July 6, 5-9 p.m.; City dock. Freedom Fest Independence Day Celebration. Bring a chair/blanket. Food, live music, arts and crafts, military appreciation. Fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
  • Easton: Thursday, July 4, dusk; Best viewed from Easton Carnival grounds, 28539 Marlboro Ave. (behind Target).
  • Hebron: Friday, July 5, 9:30 p.m.; Hebron Carnival Grounds. Rain date July 6.
  • Ocean City: Thursday, July 4; Concert and fireworks on the Beach. Free concert at 8 p.m. followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. on the beach at North Division Street AND uptown at Northside Park on 125th Street.   • Oxford: Wednesday, July 3, dusk, at the Strand. Bring a lawn chair and get a spot early. Sponsored by the Tred Avon Yacht Club.
  • Queen Anne’s County: Tuesday, July 2, 6-9:3 p.m.; Chesapeake Heritage and Visitors Center, 425 Piney Narrows Road. Parking for the event will be at the old Kent Narrows Factory Outlets and all Kent Narrows public-parking areas.
  • Rock Hall: Wednesday, July 3, 9 p.m. The Rock Hall Bulkhead-Bayside Avenue.
  • Salisbury: Thursday, July 4, Red White and BOOM at Wicomico County Stadium across from the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.; Bring blankets and lawn chairs. Attendees can also enjoy music, food, bounce houses and Americana. Free parking available at the civic center and in the Wicomico High School parking lots. Rain date: July 5.
  • Salisbury: Thursday, July 4. Fireworks at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium following the 6:05 p.m. Delmarva Shorebirds game vs. the Hagerstown Suns.
  • Snow Hill: Saturday, June 29, dusk, at Sturgis Memorial Park on River Street. The event also includes food vendors, craft vendors, bounce houses, face painting and music.
  • St. Michaels: Saturday, July 6, 7-10 p.m.; Big Band Night & Fireworks at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Admission: $10 for non-members and $6 for members and member guests. Admission falls to $2 after 8:45 p.m. Children ages 5 and under are free. Rain date: Sunday, July 7.
  • Willards: Wednesday, July 3, dusk, at Willards Elementary School. Rain date: July 6.

Delaware

  • Bethany Beach: Thursday, July 4.  Fireworks at dusk and are best viewed from the beach or boardwalk. During the day there will be a parade at noon, awards at 7:15 p.m. and a concert at the bandstand at 7:30 p.m.
  • Cape May-Lewes Ferry: Wednesday, July 3, July 3rd Fireworks Cruise. Cruise departs Lewes Terminal at 7:15 p.m. Fireworks will illuminate the skies over the Delaware Bay at around dusk. Return to Lewes at 11 p.m. Note: this event is SOLD OUT.
  • Dewey Beach: Thursday, July 4, 9 p.m. Fireworks to be launched from the beach and will be visible from any bar or restaurant along the bayside in Dewey.
  • Dover: Thursday, July 4, 9:30 p.m.; Legislative Hall. Tours, food, music and more from 9 a.m.- 9:30 p.m.
  • Laurel: Thursday, July 4, Starting at 5 p.m., Stars & Stripes 5K Run/Walk through a single loop course through the streets of Laurel Post-race festivities include food, beverage, Independence Day Parade, two bands, petting zoo, many vendors, and fireworks at dusk.
  • Lewes: Thursday, July 4. Old Fashioned 4th of July in Lewes is an all-day event that will be held from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. The event will include old-fashioned children’s games, the Lewes Independence Day Boat Parade and the Doo-Dah Parade. At dusk, fireworks will be shot off from a barge off Lewes Beach. The best visibility is from Roosevelt Inlet to the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal.
  • Middletown: Thursday, July 4. Fireworks display at dusk/dark at Silver Lake Park. No pets, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, personal fireworks, or open flames allowed in the park. Bike racks will be available to secure bikes near the entrance to the park. Rain date July 5.
  • Millsboro: Saturday, June 29, 6-9:30 p.m.; Cupola Park. There will be food and non-food vendors plus family-friendly music. Fireworks at dusk.
  • Newark: Thursday, July 4, 6-10 p.m. Live musical entertainment, vendors and food trucks will begins at 6 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk at the  University of Delaware Athletic Complex on South College Avenue at Del. 896 (near Delaware Stadium). For more information call 302-366-7000.
  • Rehoboth Beach: Wednesday, July 3, at 9:30 p.m. The fireworks are launched from the beach south of Rehoboth Avenue and visible up and down the boardwalk and beach. Depending on the weather, the fireworks may be launched any time after 8 p.m. Rock with The Funsters. Performing 8-9:15 p.m. before the fireworks and then again until 11 p.m. following the fireworks.
  • Smyrna/Clayton: Thursday, July 4, 9:15 p.m. Smyrna Municipal Park, North Main St. For more information call 302-653-6235.

Virginia

  • Cape Charles: Thursday, July 4, Festivities begin at 8 a.m. and will take place along Bay Avenue with a parade at 10 a.m. Craft and food vendors will be present along Bay Avenue. Live music from 7-9 p.m. Fireworks after dark at the harbor/Mason Avenue. Rain date: Friday, July 5 (fireworks only).
  • Chincoteague Island: Thursday, July 4, at the carnival grounds, 3648 Main St. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. and are sponsored by the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company, the Town of Chincoteague and the Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce.
